Haldi
A Marigold Haldi at Sunset
The Design Story
A lattice of marigolds over water
Haldi is usually a morning event. This family wanted golden hour instead, so we designed for the light they would actually have: a woven canopy of jasmine and marigold garlands suspended over the pool deck, catching the low sun like a net of gold.
Beneath it, a full marigold arch framed the seat of honor, saffron drapes moved with the breeze, and brass urlis of petals traced the path across the water. No backdrop walls, no print. The Texas sky did the rest.
